Refund Policy

At Dusk™, we want the whole experience to feel calm, clear, and considered — including the moment you decide whether it belongs in your evenings. Below is exactly how returns and refunds work, and what we ask of you in return.

The 30-Night Comfort Guarantee

The 30-Night Comfort Guarantee isn’t a formality. It’s an invitation to actually live with Dusk before you decide. Use the ritual on most nights for a few weeks and let it settle into how your evenings close. If it still doesn’t feel like the right fit, tell us — we’ll make it right.

You have up to 45 days from the date your order is delivered to start a comfort-guarantee return. We set the window at 45 days on purpose: enough to complete the full 30-night ritual and still take a few unhurried days to decide. The comfort guarantee is offered once per customer.

This guarantee is here for people who gave the ritual an honest try and found it wasn’t for them. It’s meant for a genuine trial, not a free month with the kit — so each request is reviewed, and we ask that the reusable devices come back in working order. Everything below is written to keep that fair on both sides.

How to start a return

Email us at support@trydusksleep.com within 45 days of delivery with your order number and a sentence or two on how the ritual worked for you. Each comfort-guarantee return is reviewed and approved before a refund is issued — typically within a couple of business days. Once approved, we’ll send you a prepaid return label, so you won’t pay return shipping on an approved comfort-guarantee return.

What comes back — and what’s yours to keep

Because the point is to actually try the ritual, nothing needs to be unused; worn, used, and lived-with is exactly what we expect. To keep returns simple and hygienic, we split your kit into what stays with you and what comes back.

Yours to keep. The Wind-Down Mist and the Ritual Mask stay with you, even on a return. One is a consumable and the other is a personal, skin-contact item, so we’d never resell them and won’t ask you to ship them back. Use the mist right down to the last spray if you like — an empty bottle won’t affect your refund.

Please return. The Ember Diffuser — and, with the Complete Ritual, the Calm Touch and Dusk Hush — should come back in working condition, with the cables and pieces they arrived with where possible. These are the reusable devices at the heart of the system, and returning them is what makes the guarantee work.

A refund may be reduced or declined if the returned devices are missing, intentionally damaged, or damaged well beyond normal use; if the request falls outside the 45-day window; if the comfort guarantee has already been used on an earlier order; or if the order was purchased somewhere other than trydusksleep.com.

Changed your mind?

If you simply changed your mind and your kit is still unopened and unused, email us within 45 days of delivery and we’ll arrange a standard return. For change-of-mind returns, return shipping may be the customer’s responsibility — the prepaid label is part of the comfort guarantee, which is meant for people who’ve genuinely tried the ritual.

Damaged, incorrect, or defective items

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective, email us at support@trydusksleep.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll review the case and help with a replacement, refund, or other resolution — and we cover return shipping in these cases.

Safety concerns and unsafe products

If you believe a product is unsafe, defective, overheating, smoking, sparking, swelling, melting, leaking, causing irritation, causing an adverse reaction, damaging property, or causing injury, stop using it immediately and contact us at support@trydusksleep.com.

When reporting a safety concern, please include your order number, a description of the issue, photos or video if available, and whether any injury, property damage, smoke, fire, overheating, leakage, swelling, melting, or electrical issue occurred.

Dusk™ may review the report, request additional information, contact suppliers or fulfillment partners, issue a refund or replacement, pause sales of an affected product, cancel affected orders, or take other safety-related action where appropriate.

Return shipping

For approved comfort-guarantee returns, Dusk covers return shipping with a prepaid label. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we cover return shipping for that as well. For change-of-mind returns, or other situations outside the comfort guarantee, return shipping may be the customer’s responsibility.

Refund timing

Once your return has been received, reviewed, and approved, your refund will be issued back to the original payment method. Please allow several business days for your bank or payment provider to process it on their end.
